I created this version of the 2016 Bingo Reading Challenge to suit my own tastes and desires, and to challenge myself somewhat as well.
You are more than welcome to join me if you are interested, the rules are pretty simple. Every time you read a book that fits into one of the categories on the Bingo card, you daub the spot. Only one book is allowed to daub one space, with the exception of the left hand column. You can daub the left hand column plus another spot, for example if you read a book by your favourite author while travelling, you can daub both spots. This challenge runs until the end of 2016.
Here’s the original Bingo card if you would like to join.
Below is my Bingo card, I didn’t daub any spots during June which is pretty sad. I actually finished reading four books, but none of them were related to this challenge!
So, sadly I don’t have any books to list for this month, but I can say that I am reading/listening to three books for the challenge:
- Chosen for the cover: The House of Dust and Dreams by Brenda Reid
- Adapted to screen: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
- Classic: A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
They’re actually the only books I’m reading at the moment. Sometimes I have one or two other books on the go that don’t relate to the challenge as well, but because I’d been reading so many that weren’t on this reading list, I thought I should focus on those to catch up a bit!
Are you participating in any Bingo Reading Challenges this year? How are you going with yours?
